PLUMBING HELP, WHEN IT MATTERS

Privacy and information handling

How 24 Emergency Plumber handles website visits, optional call-button analytics and information you choose to share.

01

Who operates this website

24 Emergency Plumber operates 24EmergencyPlumber.com as a plumbing information and referral website. For a privacy question or a request about information you have provided, use the current phone number or contact route on our Contact page. This notice was updated on October 15, 2026.

02

Essential website functions

The website uses a session cookie and security tokens to serve pages and protect requests. Our hosting service processes connection information needed to deliver and secure the site, which can include an IP address, requested URL, browser information and error logs. These essential functions are separate from optional interaction analytics.

03

Optional website and call-button analytics

If you allow analytics in the footer preferences, we record visible public-page loads and call-button views and clicks. Each record can include the page, landing page, button placement, mobile or desktop viewport category, time, language, and observed source, medium, campaign and referrer host. For a call click, we also save the business number displayed on that button at the time. A button view is counted after at least half of the button is visible. These records help us understand which pages and contact options people use.

A random identifier groups consented activity into a 30-minute browsing session. It is not a verified identity or a count of unique people. We store the referrer hostname, not its full address or search query. A missing referrer can include direct visits, apps or browser privacy restrictions.

These analytics records do not include your phone number, email address, raw IP address, precise location or call audio. They do not reveal organic search keywords or confirm that a call connected, was answered or resulted in a booking.

04

Your choices and retention

Optional website analytics starts only after you allow it. You can turn it off in Cookie & analytics preferences in the footer; calling the displayed number does not require analytics consent. Your browser remembers this choice for up to 180 days. You can also clear your browser storage. When the scope of optional analytics changes, we ask you to choose again.

Observed attribution is grouped into 30-minute sessions. Page-view and call-button interaction records are scheduled for removal after 90 days. Signed-in Admin visits and protected previews are excluded from these reports. Security and recovery backups follow separate retention schedules, so removal from the active system is not necessarily immediate removal from an older backup. Contact us if you want information about a specific request.

05

Calls, requests and other services

When you dial, the telephone service and the business answering the call handle the information you share. Confirm that business and its privacy practices before supplying sensitive information. If a contact form is offered, it identifies the information requested and its consent wording. We use information you submit to respond to and handle your request, including referral to a provider when that is the stated purpose.

External analytics, when configured and offered, has a separate choice on the website. Optional embedded video connects to its provider only when you choose to load it. Third-party services have their own privacy notices.

06

Privacy questions and requests

Contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of information you supplied, or to raise a privacy concern. Describe the request and approximate date without sending payment details or identity documents. We may need enough information to locate a record and confirm that you are entitled to request it. Available rights and any required retention depend on the circumstances and applicable law. Changes to this notice will appear here with an updated date.
